Midsummer Dance

The different seasons of the year each have their own energy. Autumn; a time to  work hard, gather in the harvest and prepare for Winter. Winter; a time for wrapping up and moving more slowly, after the hard work of Autumn. Spring is an explosion of energy as all species prepare to raise the next generation. Summer lacks the energy of Spring, nor does it have the requirement to work hard like Autumn.

Summer is a time to bask in the sunshine and warmth, charge our personal solar batteries. Dancing in the Summer is languid, slow and sensuous, not wild and enticing as it was in the spring. Summer is time for lovers to reinforce the attraction found in Spring, finding the rhythm that will sustain them through the work of Autumn and the hardships of Winter.
