Anxious Moments
Anxiety can affect anyone, each of us experiencing a different trigger. For some, it may have been that moment just before going on stage at a school performance or play. Standing in the shadows, seeing the shapes, colours and light shifting through the curtains as people take their seats. As the audience settle, the anxiety of the performer can manifest itself as internal twisting and torment.
Persistent anxiety can appear as a dull grey, removing all the colour from the world. By contrast, momentary anxiety flares up, as a fire or bright lights which can blind you, driving out the ability to think rationally and place your experiences in perspective.
